While she was traveling to Comanche Co., TX., a high wind blew down their tent during a rain storm. She died of pneumonia leaving six small children.
Her husband, John Johnson, is buried in DeLeon, Comanche Co., TX.
Her mother, Mary Catherine Tigert Burrow, is buried in Kaufman Cemetery, Kaufman Co., TX.
Her father, Washington King Burrow, burial site is unknown.
