Margie Marie Young, age 87 of New Boston, Texas passed away Sunday, April 26, 2009 in a Texarkana Hospital. Miss Young was born April 23, 1922 in Redwater, Texas. She was a member of Red Bayou United Methodist Church, was retired after 45 years as a Communications Supervisor with Red River Army Depot and is preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Ruth Young and a brother, Harold Young.
Survivors include her brother and sister in law, C.R. "Bud" and Geralene Young of New Boston, Texas, four nephews and nieces in law, Stephen and Alice Young of New Boston, Texas, Paul Young of New Boston, Texas, Scott Young of Spring, Texas, Craig and Jenny Young of Tomball, Texas, one niece and nephew in law, Jennilou and Mark Morgan of New Boston, Texas three great nephews and one great niece in law, Roger and Veronica Leon of Humble, Texas, Travis Young from New Boston, Texas, Hayden Young of Tomball, Texas four great nieces and three great nephews in law, Charlotte and Larry Lairmore of Foreman, Arkansas, Beth and Chad Avery of Chorinth, Texas, Rachel and Chad Shimek of Chorinth, Texas, Taylor Young of Tomball, Texas and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Red Bayou United Methodist Church, New Boston with Bro. John Barfield officiating. Interment will be in Red Bayou Cemetery, New Boston under the direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home.
