Obituary
Services for James Elton Abel, 57, and Robbie Mae Abel, 54, who were killed in a two-car accident near Douglas, Wyo., Saturday, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Calvary Baptist Church.

The Rev. Kenneth Romines, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, and the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton Mortuary.

A spokesman for the Wyoming Highway Patrol said the Abels were killed abut 12:50 p.m. Saturday when the car he was driving south collided with a car driven by Thomas Kysar, 20, of Powell, Wyo. Kysar received minor injuries, the patrol said.

The patrol said the car driven by Kysar passed a semi-tractor trailer and struck the rear of the Abel's car as it was returning to the right-hand lane. The car carrying the Abels struck a guard rail, went off the road and rolled four times, ejecting both victims, stated the patrol.

Mr. Abel was born at Mangum, Okla. He was a furniture salesman and a veteran of World War II.

Mrs. Abel was a native of Wellington. They had lived in Borger for 29 years. She was born Feb. 17, 1924 in Wellington.

They are survived by two sons, Bob of Chicago, Ill., and Jimmy of the home; two daughters, Mrs. June Jordon of Phillips and Mrs. Betty Wright of Borger; and seven grandchildren. Additionally, he is survived by a brother, Clint of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and she is survived by a sister, Mrs. J.C. Scott of Wichita Falls.
