Virgie was born to Robert Gullage Buckley and Susie Liddie Ann (Caudle) Buckley. She was married to E.L. "Jug" Dennis on July 3, 1947 in Eastland, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1982, one sister, Freta Mae Duke, and seven brothers; Harvey Buckley, J.D.Buckley, Burnell Buckley, Robert Buckley, Rufus Buckley, Floyd Buckley and Eugene Buckley.
