John Henry Stinson, 63, of New Boston, Texas, died Monday, May 29, 2006, at his home.
Mr. Stinson was born May 30, 1942, in Maud, Texas.
He was Precinct 4 county commissioner, retired from Red River Army Depot and the City of Texarkana and member of Arkadelphia Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, trustee and Sunday school superintendent.
Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Arkadelphia Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Massey and Bishop James Dancy officiating.
Burial will be in Arkadelphia Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
