Born January 6, 1845, in Round Top Texas-Died February 18, 1934, in Houston, Harris County Texas. Served in the Confederate War under General Forrest, in Wauls Texas Legion from 1862 until the end of the Civil War.
He made his home in Hays County and served as Sheriff for four years. He married Bettie Little and they had ten children whom all contributed to the settlement of The Republic of Texas.
