Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Sowder was the daughter of Emma Virginia "Jennie" Crockett and Joseph Henry Sowder. Her mother, Emma Virginia "Jennie" Crockett (1840-1879), was the daughter of Mary Tinsley Pierce and Joseph Potts Crockett (#112238950). Lizzie's mother died in March of 1879, in Cooke County, Texas, but, because her burial place is not known
