First known burial 1898. Under the care of The Friends of Almeda Cemetery Association.
The cemetery is located on the freeway access road on the south side of South Sam Houston Parkway West (Beltway 8), between Kirby Drive and State Highway 288 (South Freeway). The entrance is a small single car partial driveway.
