Obit - Mrs. A. H. Anderson Dies Here; Funeral At Trewitt Chapel
Funeral rites for Mrs. Agnes Hill Anderson, 75, were held from the Trewitt Funeral Home here Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, her death having occurred a short time after twelve o'clock Monday at her home in this city.
Rev. S. B. Culpepper conducted the services. Pallbearers were P.K. Fuller, T. W. Richardson, Leonard Wood, J. A. Walsworth, Geo. W. Stephens, Henry Clark. Flower girls were Misses Ruby Dear, Rose Green, Hazel McMahon, Vayne Fenner, and Mrs. W. O. Dear. Burial was made in West End Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson was born May 7, 1860 in Tennessee. She came to Texas 40 years ago settling in Erath County. She has been making her home in Stephenville for several years, coming here after her husband's death.
Only four of the nine children born to Mr. and Mrs. Anderson are living. They are W. P. and A. J. Anderson and Mrs. C. H. Richardson of Stephenville and Mrs. C. R. Roberts of Aransas Pass. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and a niece, Mrs. Robert Vaughn of Dallas.
Out-of-town relatives here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Roberts and Mrs. Mary Spear of Aransas Pass. Mr. and Mrs. George Stephens of Fort Worth and Mrs. Robert Vaughn of Dallas.
