Information given by Carolyn Ogle
Sanson names should be Sansom. The names were spelled wrong on the cemetery stone but it could not be fixed. Missouri Sansom, N.A. Sonsom (Napoleon), and their son Duren Sansom. Napoleon's mother and father are buried in Hubbard Chapel Cemetery near DeKalb. His father fought in the civil war.Graves are no longer marked.
At one time in the 1970's when I saw them they had curved concrete over the whole grave area of each one. N.A. Sansom came
with his parents from Clarke County, MS.
The spelling is wrong on the stones. The maker of the stone would not correct it, and Missouri Shaw Sansom was very disturbed about it but there was nothing she could do. I have a letter that recounts this what I am telling to you.
Nancy Alice Sansom Eddins was Napoleon's sister and resided in Fouke, Miller County, AR and buried in Sylverino Cemeter there. Her family wrote to me in the 1980s and gave me pictures and family histories of this family who are kin to me through the Eddins and the Lindsey names. Thank you very much. I would love to get the Sansom names corrected on paper in this Woodman Cemetery and to get the Sansom graves recorded for Hubbard Chapel Cemetery since the book I corrected was never kept and the main book corrected in the New Boston Genealogical Library. The correction book disappeared. Carolyn Ogle
