Connie L. Fowler, 67, of Jacksboro, died June 12, 2008. A funeral service was held June 16 in the Coker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Los Creek Cemetery. Kent Goree and Terry Mitchell officiated.
Mrs. Fowler was born March 1, 1941, to the Late Louis C. and Mary Belle Martin Rich in Jacksboro. She married Ira “ Bud” Fowler Dec. 7, 1957, in Palo Pinto County. She was a hospice aide with Solaris Hospice Inc., and a member of Jesus Name Church in Jacksboro.
Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include three daughters, Connie Taylor and husband Mark of Gordon, Karen Sharp and husband J.D. of Jacksboro and Latisha Grill and husband Richard of Bandera; two sons, Ira Rich “Buddy” Fowler and Casey Joe Fowler, both of Jacksboro; two sisters, Carolyn Gunter of Palestine and Elizabeth Ragle of Graford; one brother, Thomas J. Rich of Jacksboro; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
