Bynum David Perry, Jr. of De Kalb, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at a Texarkana, Texas hospital. He was 79. B. D. was born May 18, 1937, in Van Alstyne, Texas, to Bynum David Perry, Sr. and Margaret Ann Lewis Perry .
He was the former owner of Sunny Acres Nursing Home, a building contractor, a law enforcement officer, and a member of the Plumbers and Steam Pipe Fitters Local Union #100 of Dallas, Texas. B. D. was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jerry Perry and one sister, Zelma Tate.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, one daughter, one grandson and one granddaughter-in-law, six granddaughters and one grandson-in-law, several great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2016, at Bates Family Funeral Home in DeKalb, Texas.
Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery in DeKalb, Texas.
