Edward was born in Tye and moved to Clyde
to live with his brothers after his mother
died in 1965. His father had already died.
He enlisted in the Marines 13 January 1965,at
the Dallas Recruiting Office.
Two of his brothers served in the US Army
during the Vietnam War.
He served with Alpha Company, 1st Battalion,
26th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division.
Edward died during Operation VI about seven
kilometers south southeast of Con Thien
(Hill 158).
Survived by his two brothers; David C & Sam C
Ramos of Box 178, Clyde,TX.
His parents,Ysidro & Juanita C Ramos were
deceased.
