April 15, 1936 - July 24, 2018
Virgie Mary Dowdle, age 82, of Texarkana, Texas died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Dowdle was born April 15, 1936 in Texarkana, Texas. She was retired and was a Christian.
Survivors include one daughter, Cathy Almon and husband Jim of Cleveland, Oklahoma; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Groff and wife Deborah of Houston, Texas; Roger Groff and wife Rebbeca of Charlotte, North Carolina; Lennard Dowdle and wife Barbara of Texarkana, Texas; and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
