Charlotte Blankenship 73,of Texarkana, Texas died Saturday August 11,2001 at a local hospital. Mrs. Blankenship was born May 26,1928 in Texarkana. She was a homemaker and a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church. She was preceaded in death by her husband, Marcellus V. Blankenship. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Morris and Margaret Blankenship of Texarkana; five grandchildren, Marsha Paul, Brian Blankenship, Alan Blankenship, Kris Evans and Robert Cheney; and four great-grandchildren, Melissa Paul, Christopher Paul, Morgan Evans and Savannah Evans. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Fuqua-Everett Memorial Chapel at Texarkana Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
