Curtis Glenn Hines,32,passed away Wednesday August 7,2002 in San Marcus,Texas.
Funeral Services were held Saturday,August 10,2002 at the First Baptist Church in Alpine with the Rev.Phillip McCraw officating.Burial was in the Clyde Cemetery in Clyde with the Pastor Ray Bullock officiating the committal service. Geeslin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Hines was born on August 6. 1970 in Graham,Texas to Ana Beth and Charles J. Hines. Curtis attended Alpine High School and graduated from the Law Enforcement Academy at Odessa College in 1993. He had been a sergent with the Alpine Police Departmetn and was a member of the West Texas Narcotics Task Force. He had ecently joined the Thays County Sheriffs Department in San Marcos. Curtis had been a resident of Alpine for the past 17 years. He was a loving son, brother, and freind whom will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his mother, Anna Beth Anderson of Alpine; his fiance Deana Spears of El Paso; his grandmother, Beth Parsons of Alpine; his sister Jo Ann Beasly of Clyde; his two brothers, Charles Kevin Hines and Joel Craig Anderson both of Memphis, TN; and several neices and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hines and his brother Cory Hines.
