CLYDE - Deanna Beth Owens, 24 of Clyde, died Wednesday in an automobile accident near Henderson.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Clyde with Dr. Jerry Joplin and Dr. Toby Henson officiating. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Deanna was born December 9, 1981 in Abilene to Dale and Sharon (James) Owens. She graduated with honors from Clyde High School in 2000 and from Texas A&M University in 2006 with a degree in ag development. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clyde.
She is survived by her parents of Clyde; two brothers, Jason Owens and wife Angela of Clyde and James Owens and wife Tiffany of Fort Worth; one sister, Lorie Brubaker and husband Kenny of Abilene; her paternal grandmother, Lucy Owens of Clyde; her maternal grandparents, Eldon and Ida James of Abilene; two uncles, David James and wife Dana of Fort Worth and Darrell James and wife Pat of Keller; two aunts, Darlene McDonnell and husband Mike of Tampa, FL and Pat Boles and husband Don of Clyde and nine nieces and nephews, Hunter, Hayden, Brett, Hannah and Jacob Owens and Kara, Kaylin, Ethan and Seth Brubaker, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Sidney Owens and grandmother Billie James.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 600, Clyde, Texas, 79510.
