Bessie Lane born and died 23 December 1890
Bessie was their only daughter. However, according to The History of Jack County, Texas (pg 554 James Martin 2nd Gen), there was another girl they may or may not have legally adopted, her name was Bessie Wood. She was raised as their own daughter.
Bessie Wood was born 17 February 1901. She married Jessie Edgar "Jaack" Luten 25 May 1919 in Mineral Wells, Texas. I have no other info on her at this time.
