This grave is most likely the grave of Anna Hawkins, who was 5/8 Creek Indian. Anna married Frank Clark (1830-1856) and they had one daughter, Sallie Clark, who is buried in this cemetery. Frank was the son of James Clark who founded Clarksville, TX. Frank is buried near his father in Clarksville.
Anna Hawkins Clark's 2nd husband was Samuel H. McFarland. They married in 1859. Their children were Samuel H. McFarland, Jr. (1860-1879) and Anna Louise McFarland (1862-XXXX), who married Willis Berry at Refuge Plantation in Marion County, TX. Anna Louise McFarland Berry and Willis Berry are buried at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Shreveport, LA
