Albany - Barbara Kay Gleason, 62, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 3, 2008.
Barbara was born in Jacksboro, Texas, on June 4, 1945, to Aaron and Wanda Gleason.
After graduation from Albany High School, she joined her mother in providing day care for the children of Albany for over twenty years. She was very loving and willingly gave of herself to others. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Albany.
She was preceded in death by her father, Aaron. She is survived by her mother, Wanda, and brother, Alan, both of Albany, an uncle, Pete Woolsley, and wife, Mickey, of Jacksboro; aunts, Cherry Gleason of Potosi, and Betty Nelson of Weatherford; and a nephew Alan Dean of Tusla.
