This is an old small family cemetery near the original location of Spring Branch, Texas. The Comal County Genealogy Society booklet "Lest We Forget" (1989) lists this cemetery on page 31 as the "Kretzer Cemetery", indicating that 4 marked graves and 1 unmarked grave were inventoried at that time. The cemetery is marked on the county map series by the Texas Dept. Of Transportation, labeled (with misspelling) as "Retzer". During a visit on 5-Apr-2018, the cemetery was found to be fenced with a chain-link fence, and the interior was overgrown with vines, weeds and brush.
