This is an old small family cemetery on private ranch property, so permission is needed for a visit. The Comal County Genealogy Society booklet "Lest We Forget" (1989) lists this cemetery on page 147, indicating that three graves were inventoried at that time. The cemetery is marked on the county map series by the Texas Dept. Of Transportation, although without a name. It is one of two closeby Rompel family cemeteries on the same property in Comal County, and across the Cibolo Creek (the county line) from a third Rompel cemetery (Karl Rompel Cemetery) in Bexar Co.
