Lee Roy Ardeneaux, age 85, of Wake Village, Texas, died Sunday, March 30, 2008 in a local hospital.
Mr. Ardeneaux, was born September 24, 1922 at Boyce, Louisiana.
He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of the First Baptist Church, Moores Lane and a U.S. Army veteran having served during W.W. II.
He was preceded in death by a son, George Roy Ardeneaux.
Survivors include his wife, Montrose Ardeneaux of Wake Village, TX; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David W. and Theresa Ardeneaux of Sallisaw, OK, Raymond L. Ardeneaux of Wake Village, TX; one sister, Mary E. Brown of Sacramento, California six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Fuqua-Everett Memorial Chapel at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas with the Rev. Larry Sims officiating.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M.
