Robert "Hoppy" Edward Lee, 66, of Denton, died Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at his home in Denton.

Mr. Lee was born on April 19, 1951 in Denton to Otis Carl and Martha Ann (Wheeler) Lee. He worked for many years as a self-employed paint contractor.

Hoppy is survived by his daughters, Crystal Ucci and her husband Aaron of Marquez, TX, Melissa Fleming and her husband Clint of Tomball, TX; son, Jason Lee and his wife Renee of Denton and their son Jason Lee, who Hoppy raised just like his own son; sister, Betty Brae of Belton, TX; brother, Otis L. Lee of Fort Worth, TX; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 10, 2017 at New Hope Cemetery, Burns City, TX. Otis L. Lee, Jr. will officiate the service.
