Dewey Dwayne Harwell, 75, of Pilot Point, died Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Corinth Rehabilitation Suites.

Mr. Harwell was born on July 9, 1941 in Sanger to Vernon and Margaret (Davis) Harwell. He worked as a roofer for several years.

He was survived by his daughters, Shannon Havens of Pottsboro, Nevaeh Harwell of Santa Anna; son, Charles Dwayne Harwell of Denton; sisters, Laura McCartney, Becky Witter, Geraldine Dunn, Gwenda Wooten, Terry Smith, Jeannie Gayle McCann; brothers, Vernon Harwell, Larry Harwell; 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Vickie Henderson and Judy Harwell.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 17, 2017 at Mulkey-Bowles Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at New Hope Cemetery, Burns City.
