Linda Sue Edwards, a retired teacher of 36 years and beloved mother of two passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009. She was a resident of Cookville, Texas where she was a lifelong, active member of the First Baptist Church of Cookville, Sue “Nana” was born in Pittsburg, Texas April 4, 1944 to O. R. and Connie Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her mother Connie and only brother Jimmy. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Billy R. Edwards of Cookville, Texas and two sons Jason Edwards of Rockwall, Texas and Justin and Melissa Edwards of Cookville, Texas. Her pride and joy were her two beautiful granddaughters Makenzi Edwards and Ellie Kate Edwards. Also surviving is her father, O. R. Ferguson of Mt. Pleasant. Pallbearers were Rodney Black, Randy Edwards, Jimmy Jay Fox, Eddie Hanna, Bob Hedges, Ray Rocha; Honorary Pallbearers were Gene Hall, John McCollum and Leo Schakel. Interment was in the Concord Cemetery, Omaha, Texas. (S Sec Row 17)
