Graveside services for Jimmy Clyde Perry, 87, of Gainesville, will be held at

10:00 AM Sunday, August 18, 2019 in the New Hope Cemetery with Pastor Randy Thomason officiating.

Mr. Perry passed away August 15, 2019 in Gainesville. He was born May 22, 1932 in Celina to Clyde Vance and Flora Belle (Stone) Perry.

Jimmy proudly served in the US Army in Korea as a mechanic. He was a professional truck driver for many years. He spent his younger days racing fast cars and motorcycles and always enjoyed fishing. He always had a quick wit and great

sense of humor. He was a dedicated and loving husband, brother, and father.

Mr. Perry is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Gayna and Glenn Chapman of Whitesboro; sister Betty York of Burns City; brotherin- law L. J. Savage, Jr.; several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his companion, Mary Hobbs of Pottsboro.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Barbara Dean Savage Perry; sister Janice Beeler.
