Jerry Duane Wilde, 72 of Collinsville, TX passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville, TX. He was born November 8, 1939, in Perry, OK. He was married to Ramona Bowser on September 21, 1957, in Bloomington, MN. He was retired from BNSF Railway after 40 years. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denton and very involved in his community and church life.

Jerry is survived by his wife Ramona Wilde of Collinsville, son Kevin D. Wilde of Haslet; daughters, Kathy Lariviere of Urbana, IA; Tammy Ramm of North Richland Hills; and sisters, Dorothy Swearingen of Tulsa, OK, and Claire Barnett of Henderson, NV; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry & Agatha (Henke) Wilde, a sister Margie LaFleur, and a brother Hank Wilde.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, September 10, 2012, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 705 N. Elm, Denton, with Rev. Russ Tieken and Rev. Barrie Henke officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Burns City (Cooke County), Texas. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, for visitation from 6:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Paul Lutheran Church building fund.
