Graveside services for Mr. Darrell Dexter Dailey, 70, of Winfield, were Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Concord Cemetery with the Rev. Prentice Burks officiating. Mr. Dailey was born September 3, 1937, in Parkersburg, WV. He died Thursday, March 20, 2008, in Mt. Vernon. He was the manager/operator of NeTex Auto Sales in Mt. Vernon and a member of Abundant Life Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife, Carmeletta Dailey; one son and daughter-in-law, Darrell Wayne and Kim Dailey of Dike; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Joseph Thompson of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers and sister-in-law, Gary Dailey of Mt. Pleasant and Forest and Barbara Dailey Jr. of Hawaii; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Myrle and Bill Cosner and Jo Ann and Ray Cain, all of Parkersburg, WV, and Irene and Ray Clarence Williams of Macon, GA; one sister-in-law, Pauline Dailey of Winfield; four grandchildren, Travis Thompson, Derek Dailey, Jackson Dailey and Jovanna Harris; two great-grandchildren, Cason Harris and Avery Thompson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Denzil Dailey Sr. and Bessie Atkinson Dailey; two sisters, Virginia Dailey and Betsy DeLancey; and one brother, Paul Edward Dailey.
