RICHARDSON — Funeral services for Betty Jeanne Hibbard, 82, of Richardson and formerly of Gainesville will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Clement-Keel Chapel in Gainesville, with Mr. Tim Jennings officiating.

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Betty Jeanne Hibbard died on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Medical Center of Plano.

Betty Jeanne Hibbard was born to Jack and Sibyl Butts on Dec. 28, 1927 in Dexter. She was a member of Spring Creek Church of Christ and she worked for Texas Instruments for 14 years in cost accounting. She married William Hubbard on May 31, 1973 in Broken Bow, Okla.

Survivors include her son, Michael Howard Welch; daughters, Priscilla Lynn Welch and Judy Gail Welch; granddaughter, Afton Paige Welch; grandson, Kevin Butts; great-granddaughter, Cheryl Howdeshell; brothers, Fane Butts, Jim Butts and Raymond Butts.

Betty Jeanne Hibbard is preceded by her parents, Jack and Sibyl Butts; husband, William Hibbard and sisters, Mildred Butts, Linda Sue Butts and Ann Woods.

Pallbearers are Raymond Butts, Jim Butts, Kevin Butts, Tommy Woods, Tom Pierce, Cheryl Howdeshell and Gary Sapp. Honorary pallbearer is Fane Butts.
