Rickey Sewell went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 8, 2014 in Spring, Texas at the age of 66. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and most importantly, Papa.
He was born in Gainesville, Texas on June 8, 1948.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Sewell of 45 years. They were married February 22, 1969. Rickey is also survived by his three children and their families. He has a son Brian Sewell and spouse Joanna with grandchildren Gary, Tony, Logan and Connor. He has a daughter Kristy Sewell Kreymer, spouse Brian with grandchildren Mackenzi, Levi and Carson. He has a second daughter, Kari Sewell Pratka, spouse Bobby with grandchildren Connor, Trevor and Kaytlinn. He has a great-grandson Lakota. Rickey is also survived by his sister, Doris Bush. He has many nieces and nephews whom he also loved. Rickey is preceded in death by his parents, Elvin Russell Sewell and Lorene V. Sewell and his brother Russell Sewell.
Funeral services will be performed on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Addison Funeral Home in Spring, Texas at 11:00am. His burial service is on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 12:00pm at the Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas.
Reverend David Tolliver is officiating his services and Myra Tolliver is blessing his services with song.
