Randall Ray
October 13, 1950 - July 30, 2019
Randall R. Clift passed away in Montgomery, Texas on July 30, 2019 at the age of 69. He was born on October 13, 1950 in Mena, Arkansas to the late Ray and Madeline (Kepley) Clift.
Randall was a wonderful man, devoted husband, and a strong Christian. He graduated from Garland High School in 1968, earned his bachelor’s from Ouachita Baptist University, attended SW Baptist Theological Seminary, and finally Henderson State to complete his MSE. Upon completion of school, he taught English and coached for 30 years.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Deborah K. Clift; stepdaughter, Christy Durrett and husband, Quinton; two cherished grandchildren: Rowen Bailey Durrett and Jackson Cole Gardner; sister, Gina Steitler; adored niece, Torie Steiter; and a host of other family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and stepson, James Gregory Gardner.
