Graveside services for Donald Lee Gilbreath, 70, of Whitesboro, are set for 10:00 am Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at the Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, TX, under the arrangements of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2012.
Donald was born on November 21, 1941 in Woodbine, TX to Amos Jay and Dora Elizabeth Piper Gilbreath. He passed away on January 14, 2012 in Whitesboro, TX. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Barnes Brothers Wells Service for 30+ years where he retired. He loved to hunt and fish, and especially loved spending time with his family.
Donald is survived by daughter and son in law Donna and Martin Stottlemyre of Gainesville; daughter and son in law Lee Ann and Roger Reynolds of Collinsville; daughter and son in law Dora and Dudley Graham of Gainesville; daughter Sandra Pimenta of Gainesville; son and daughter in law Raymond and Jennnifer Gilbreath of Burneyville, OK; 11 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister and brother in law Judy and Frank Doss of Gainesville; brother and sister in law Murrell and Carolyn Gilbreath of Whitesboro; brother and sister in law Joey and Sissy Gilbreath of Gainesville; and sister in law Neva Gilbreath of Gainesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Cody Gilbreath.
