Richard Donovan “Don” Harrell

After serving for over a year on the USS Lexington, Lt. Harrell visited family and friends in Olney in January 1944, while waiting for repairs to be made to his ship.
He died 16 October 1944 of acute hepatitis Naval hospital in San Leandro, California.
