Ed was born in Wesley Chapel, Houston County Texas and has lived in Wesley Chapel since 1962. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. Mr. Johnson was retired having worked as a deck hand and motorman. He was a member of the Crockett Church of God. He and three of his brothers served during World War II.
