Funeral service for Leslie David " Squint " Jones 99, of Gainesville are set for Thursday June 4, 2015 at 11:30 a.m in the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with the Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday June 3, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Leslie passed away on June 1, 2015 in Gainesville, Texas.

Leslie was born on April 6, 1916 in Bosque County to Seaborn and Hattie Bernard Jones. He retired from the United Postal service, was a past Master, and District Deputy and received his 70 yrs of service to the Masonic Lodge of Myra, Celina and Fish Creek, and a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Leslie is survived by his sons Dan Jones and his wife Vicki of Douglasville, GA., Jim Jones of Garland ,Tx and Leslie Jones and his wife Janis of McCalla, AL, step daughter Janis Clark Wade, 11 grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sally Jones, son John Seaborn Jones and grandson Dennie Clark. and step son Hugh Thomas " Tommy " Clark.
