When Charles Albert Brians was born on September 12, 1885, in Fannin, Texas, his father, Henry, was 54 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 36. He married Jennie Lucille McLaughlin on December 3, 1919, in Wilbarger, Texas. They had four children during their marriage. He died on January 5, 1949, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 63, and was buried in Fargo, Texas.
