Born the son of Seaborn and Matilda Helena Moore Stiles in Greene County Missouri. He migrated to Milam County with his parents and family in 1849.
He married Sarah Cornelia Elliot 23 Feb 1868 in Thorndale. To this union were born nine known children although there were undoubtedly several others; they are:
Etta Mae, Mary Emma, Edgar, William Lee, Wilburn Dean, Lula Rebecca, Virginia N, Erwin Graves, and Frank/Frances AKA [C]eaborn. The many descendants of this fine family continue to populate Milam County today.
