When William Henry Barnett was born on May 30, 1885, in Wilson, Texas, his father, Robert, was 27 and his mother, Mary, was 18. He married Fannie Esther Tate on December 2, 1905, in Williamson, Texas. They had six children during their marriage. He died on October 16, 1953, at the age of 68.
