When Raymond Butts was born on December 24, 1932, in Altus, Oklahoma, his father, Archie, was 39 and his mother, Esta, was 31. He had five children. He died on September 11, 2001, in Farmers Branch, Texas, at the age of 68, and was buried in Carrollton, Texas.
