When Dorothy Ellen Horlacher was born on May 15, 1920, in Xenia, Ohio, her father, Luther, was 27, and her mother, Florence, was 28. She married Howard Holloway on December 31, 1949, in King, Washington. They had two children during their marriage. She died on January 10, 2001, in Farmers Branch, Texas, at the age of 80, and was buried in Carrollton, Texas.
