died in Crockett, Houston County, Texas
Mr Sissom was a 1966 graduate of Crockett High School where he played baseball and football. Mr Sissom was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam Era. Mr Sissom was a past member of the Latexo ISD School Board of Trustees, past board member of the Crockett Merchants Little League Association and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans in Palestine. Mr Sissom was retired having worked for the Burke Center and had also worked for the P-C Ranch and Berry Gin Company. Mr Sissom was a member of the First Assembly of God. Preceded in death by his parents Rev Ed Sissom Jr and Juneta Allgood Sissom; brother Victor Daniel Sissom in 2006; and father in law Tommie Johnson and mother in law, Dylis Lloyd Johnson.
