When David Leanardis Womack was born on May 15, 1873, in Texas, his father, Jefferson, was 25 and his mother, Matilda, was 20. He had six brothers and four sisters. He died on November 20, 1941, in Erath, Texas, at the age of 68, and was buried in Peacock, Texas.
