James LaFell "Jamie" Sorrell 92 went to be with his Lord Thursday afternoon at a local care center. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am July 1, 2017 at Double Mountain Cemetery under the care and direction of Giles McCoy Funeral Home of Aspemont.
Jamie was born in Peacock November 8, 1924 to Tom and Annie McMahon Sorrell. Jamie served his country with honor in WWII as a Sergeant in the United States Army. Jamie worked for J.H. Strain in the paving business after he retired he moved back to Peacock.
