When Iuanah Quanah Chief Parker was born on May 10, 1902, in Stonewall, Texas, his father, Aaron, was 42 and his mother, Sulie, was 23. He married Mertie Odella Myers Parker and they had four children together. He then married Bessie Sims Ainsworth Parker on December 1, 1952, in Kern, California. He died on July 15, 1990, in Jayton, Texas, at the age of 88, and was buried in Peacock, Texas.
