When Arthur Carl Lingnau was born on June 22, 1904, in Lee, Texas, his father, Meinhard, was 38 and his mother, Emma, was 35. He married Annie Schwartz on July 10, 1926, in Wilbarger, Texas. He died on March 2, 1965, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 60.
