When Charlie William Taylor was born on July 17, 1888, in Texas, his father, Belton, was 30 and his mother, Mary, was 22. He had three sons with Eva Rebecca Birch between 1913 and 1921. He died on June 6, 1963, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 74.
