When Charles Zajicek was born on June 6, 1876, in Texas, his father, John, was 23 and his mother, Annie, was 18. He married Teraza Adam in 1899. They had six children in 19 years. He died on February 11, 1963, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 86, and was buried there.
