When Daniel Moseley Wilder was born on January 6, 1930, in Brownwood, Texas, his father, Elmer, was 37 and his mother, Grace, was 35. He married Ada Ann Terrell on August 20, 1954, in Lubbock, Texas. He died on July 31, 2012, at the age of 82, and was buried in Carrollton, Texas.
