Terry Michelle Schacherl passed away Tuesday January 29, 2013 in Carrollton TX surrounded by her loving family. She fought a courageous 16 month battle with cancer. Terry was born September 13, 1957 in Corpus Christi to Stanley & Grace Duplessis. She married her high school sweetheart & would have celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in March 2013. Her beautiful smile, wonderful personality, infectious spirit, & zest for life will be greatly missed by her family. She loved to laugh, dance, attend pool parties, & play horseshoes. Her love of animals had her feeding up to 8 stray cats at one time. But she was especially proud of her 3 children & loved them dearly. Terry is preceded in death by her mother Grace Duplessis. She is survived by her husband Rob Schacherl of Carrollton TX, two daughter's Natalie & her husband Marc Elmore of Dallas TX, Marissa Schacherl, & son Nathaniel Schacherl both of Carrollton TX. Her father Stanley & his wife Rosalie Duplessis of Corpus Christi TX, two brothers, Richard & his wife Grace Duplessis of Rockport TX, Brian & his two sons Jacob & Caleb Duplessis of Corpus Christi TX, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.In lieu of flowers, Terry requests a donation to Operation Kindness.
